Regular price
Beautiful handmade paper cards, letterpress printed one-at-a-time with poignant words for hardship and loss - these cards have deeply touched many.
Full deckle edge paper handmade in our California studio, hand-fed onto antique letterpresses for a textured deboss. Approximately 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches folded with inside blank; comes with an ecru envelope.
Clockwise from top left:
“that was really hard and you were really brave” - metallic silver foil on deep indigo blue folded paper
“carrying you in my heart” - black letterpress on soft gray folded paper
“Sometimes depth comes from being hollowed out: it is our empty, lonely places, acquainted with loss and grief, that come to be our hallowed vessels of mercy, stillness and settled joy.” Hollowed/Hallowed original poem by farmette founder Loren Profit Smith - black letterpress on duck egg blue folded paper
“you are going to make it through this” - black letterpress on soft gray folded paper
*Please note: all of our paper dyes are botanically-based and will vary because of slight differences in the plant matter, weather, and making process. Expect that the colors will be a little different than the image you see here, and enjoy that your card is truly one-of-a-kind. To maintain the original hue longest, please store out of direct sunlight.
I love the inscriptions and the handmade paper with letterpress printing makes each card a small piece of art. Thank you!
